Refund Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 15 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

The Gamers Refunds
You can request a refund for almost any purchase at The Gamers, for any reason. Maybe your PC doesn’t meet the hardware requirements; maybe you bought a game by mistake; maybe you played the title for an hour and just didn’t like it. No matter. The Gamers will, upon request via contact@thegamers-store.com, issue a refund for any reason, if the request is made within the required return period and, in the case of games, if the title has been played for less than two hours. There are more details below, but even if you don’t meet the refund rules we’ve outlined, you can still request a refund and we’ll take a look at it.
You’ll get a full refund of your purchase within a week of approval. You will receive the refund in funds from The Gamers or through the same payment method you used to make the purchase. If, for any reason, The Gamers is unable to issue a refund through your initial payment method, The Gamers will credit you the full amount. (Some payment methods available through The Gamers in your country may not support returning a purchase to the original payment method. 

Where are refunds applied?
The Gamers refund offer, within 15 days of purchase and with less than two hours of play, applies to games and software applications in The Gamers store. Here’s an overview of how refunds work with other types of purchases.

 

Rebates for downloadable content
(The Gamers content usable within another game or software application, “DLC”).
DLC purchased from The Gamers store is refundable within fifteen days of purchase, and if the underlying title has been played for less than two hours since the DLC was purchased, provided that the DLC has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Please note that in some cases, The Gamers will not be able to make refunds for some third-party DLC (for example, if the DLC irreversibly levels up an in-game character). These exceptions will be marked as non-refundable on the store page before purchase. 

Refunds on in-game purchases
The Gamers will offer refunds on in-game purchases within any game developed by The Gamers within forty-eight hours of purchase, provided that the in-game item has not been consumed, modified or transferred. Third party developers will have the option to allow in-game item refunds on these terms. The Gamers will inform you at the time of purchase if the game developer has opted to offer refunds for the in-game item you are purchasing. Otherwise, in-game purchases in non-The Gamers games are not refundable through The Gamers. 

Refunds on pre-purchased titles
When you purchase a proprietary title from The Gamers (and have prepaid for the title), you may request a refund at any time before the release of that title. The standard 15-day/two-hour refund period also applies, starting from the release date of the game.

 

Refunds from The Gamers
You may request a refund of The Gamers funds within fifteen days of purchase if they were purchased from The Gamers and if you have not used any of those funds.

 

The Gamers Hardware
Within the applicable time frame identified in the Hardware Refund Policy, you may request a refund for The Gamers hardware and accessories purchased through The Gamers for any reason. You must send the hardware back to us within fifteen (15) days of requesting a refund, following the instructions we provide. Please refer to the Hardware Refund Policy here for detailed instructions on the return and cancellation process for hardware and accessories from The Gamers.

 

Package Refunds
You can receive a full refund for any package purchased from The Gamers Store, as long as none of the items in the package have been transferred, and if the combined usage time of all items in the package is less than two hours. If a bundle includes an in-game item or DLC that is non-refundable, The Gamers will tell you if the entire bundle is refundable during check-out. 

Purchases made outside of The Gamers
The Gamers cannot offer refunds for purchases made outside of The Gamers (e.g., CD keys or Gamers wallet cards purchased from third parties).

 

Bans from The Gamers
If you have been banned by The Gamers anti-cheating system in a game, you lose the right to a refund for that game.

 

Video Content
We cannot offer refunds for video content on The Gamers (e.g. movies, short films, series, episodes and tutorials), unless the video is bundled with other (non-video) refundable content.

 

Gift Refunds
Unredeemed gifts can be refunded within the standard 15-day/two-hour refund period. Redeemed gifts can be refunded under the same conditions if the gift recipient initiates the refund. Funds used to purchase the gift will be returned to the original purchaser.

 

Abuse
Refunds are designed to take the risk out of purchasing titles on The Gamers, not as a way to get free games. If we feel that you are abusing the rebates, we may stop offering them. We do not consider it an abuse to request a refund on a title that was purchased just before a sale.
